Books

GET /v1/odds/books is the book list, at request time, for your key. This page explains it; it does not copy it, and it names no book: the list, each book's state and its service levels are for key holders, through the API.

Per book: book (key), name, family (books on one trading desk share a family: two brands on one desk are one opinion), status (serving or removed, with removed_at), in_your_plan (Free sees 3 books), cadence_s (the target refresh interval), stale_after_s (the read age past which its prices say stale: true) and read_age_p50_s (the median read age on our latest board).

Which books. A book is served only when it passes its source audit and the data-quality gate that runs every 5 minutes; a book that fails the gate stops being served within 60 seconds, and comes back by itself when it passes again. Books are added after 14 days of passing checks and removed when the data stops meeting the bar, when the operator asks, or when we can no longer serve it (changelog policy, takedown).

Service levels. Every book is measured each day against four service levels: the share of 5-minute slots with a fresh read, the read age of its prices when served, the time from the book to the API, and how often the quality gate paused it. GET /v1/odds/books shows each book's state to your key; a book goes on sale after 14 days in a row of passing checks. A figure appears only once 14 days are on record and only from a measurement that may be published: the store's own record or a checker outside our server, never our server measuring itself.
